Basic Class D amplifier

The class D amplifiers are very common in the audio applications due the low quantities of components, the high-power output and good thermal performance. This block diagram is a basic overview of the class D amplifiers in the market.

Application Consideration

The block diagram is considering the principal parts of a class D amplifier: Rectifying (Bridges rectifiers and TVS), Filtering, audio conditioner and amplification (BJTs and MOSFETs).
